  1. I guess we picked the best day to see the Yorktown waterfront. It's a mess now. Hope you aren't getting too much water and wind.

  2. I really like how that shot was focused and hope the park is still there. I guess you still have power and your computer works, it is very ugly out right now. Stay dry!

  3. Hi Racquel, I am glad we went when we did. What a different day we have now! Just a couple more high tides (maybe 3?) and we will be in the clear.

Hi Les, thanks! I was glad to have this shot and then to play with some of the features on Picasa..made it stand out. So far still have power. Just got in from walking the dogs and I am soaked from where the bottom edge of the rain jacket was to my toes.
Low tide is at 11:22 AM

  6. Your photo is stunning...I really like how you composed it! I hope you are still on dry land;-) I know you have that water right behind you. Sarah's classes were cancelled. Hopefully by tomorrow things will calm down.

  7. Just read your note on Les's page...8 or more inches in your garage, no phones, barrel floated out to sea...and MORE:-( UGH! I hope you guys will not have 'too much' damage. What's too much? ANY damage isn't good. Just you take care, ok?!
